The Dreamer

Jessica Greene

My name is Jessica Greene.

As soon as I walked onto this property, I knew I would own it. I loved it from the beginning. YES, it needed a lot of work, but all I could see was happiness and contentment around every corner and under every tree. It is still a work in progress, and much of the time I am just keeping things running and am happy about that, but I envision a place where people can come visit, walk around, see my goats and horses, learn about them, and maybe start their own little dream come true.

Life sure is funny. Thank you for every day!

Another twist, another turn.

We are now in Florida on the Space Coast!

6 acres of greenery all around, with a pond in one corner. We have plenty of space for our herd here, and will be adding chickens within a few months, after we get the herd settled and get into a routine. My horses are at a nearby stable with a wonderful proprietor who has helped waylay my anxious tendencies when it comes to worrying about my boys, especially Ben. We hope to move the boys here to the property in a couple of years!

My big reason for moving is so that I can be more a part of my grandson’s life!

I hope to offer kids for sale in the next 6-7 months!

The Farm

Pitty Titty

Little miss Pitty Titty came with the farm! Count to a fast “3” if you are petting her, though, her patience is non-compliant with pets.

Pitty Titty was found on the property in Spring 2023 very ill and even a trip to the veterinarian could not save her.

Her “One, two, three pets and you are past your limits to touch me.” Has been missed.

RIP Miss Pitty. Your little teeth will once again reach my fingers on the rainbow Bridge.

Obie

Obie is a Thoroughbred off the track. He was purchased/adopted from Equine Racers Rescue two years ago and is in the process of “coming down” off the track and being slowly re-trained.

Obie is now trotting under saddle and is moving forward with his training!

Benny-Ben is my big boy, he is a Thoroughbred who was bred for racing but never made it to the track due to injury. He is recuperated now and was purchased/adopted through the CANTER organization. He is a late bloomer and is only now beginning his riding career.

Ben has been working on his canter pick up and only gets more and more lovely to ride as we progress.

Rippon is my farm dog, he keeps the peace here.

Rippon

Believe it or not, I had Rippon’s DNA tested. He is mostly Australian Cattle Dog! Second ingredient is German Shepherd, with a dash of Rottweiler and a pinch of Staffordshire Terrier.

Rippon is king of his land here in Florida and now has to put up with “Jelly,” his “new” little sister…. She rolls over him with no problem, and he loves it.

Sassy

Sassy and her sister Roxy also came with the property. They have lived here their whole lives and it seemed to be a great idea to adopt them since they knew the ropes. I noticed later, since they run the front fence line, neighbors driving by honk at them in greeting!

RIP my little friend. You are missed by us all. See you on the Rainbow Bridge….

Roxy

Roxy is Sassy’s sister, they were just groomed for the first time in their lives and Rippon is checking them out.

Roxy is with us in Florida and still has her brother and a “new” little irritating sister (my son’s dog) to scold.
