My Eggs Are Better.

Why are my eggs superior to store bought or other hobby farm eggs?

To start, it is the chicken that came first. Most of my chickens were purchased from a national hatchery and I either hatched the eggs or the chicks were delivered and vaccinated at one day. They were raised by me; I know my girls. They live in a huge coop and are free to roam the lower property here all day long. My chickens are fed organic feed. Their feed is a combination of Purina organic scratch and or pelleted feed and Grubblies feed, a very high-quality feed that is shipped monthly to us.

I have some chickens that were gifted, but not anyone is able to join my flock. I check living conditions and speak with previous owners about their care and laying capabilities. I only accept hens, and I have one rooster who manages his flock.

My chickens are pure and mixed, we “don’t see color” - except in the eggs! At this moment I have deep reddish-brown eggs, jumbo white eggs, regular to jumbo buff-colored eggs, olive eggs, and a light green egg available. I do not artificially light my coop. I allow my hens to lay in their natural cycles, as God intended!

Research shows that eggs produced by chickens raised in these conditions who eat high-quality nutritious food produce eggs that reflect those conditions. My eggs are highly nutritious. The yolks are bouncy and a deep gold. I have purchasers who buy my eggs in bulk, so if you want some of my superior eggs, please text me and I will hold some for you! I do not deliver. This is the time of year the chickens start slowing egg production, so it is important you give us at least two days to fulfill your order.

Why are my eggs “so cheap?” Because I do not wash them. You may have a feather or two on them. I take them directly from the next and into the holder. So I don’t spend any time on them except to gather. So I don’t charge more for them. Maybe in the future I will raise the price, but for now it has not changed in 2 years.

Oh, I now have duck eggs, and those are the same price.
